About me

I'm Leriem Ferhat, and I teach Maths because I love the subject. As the older sibling I was always the one explaining things, and sharing how I see Maths is still the part of this I enjoy most.

My lessons are conversational. We talk the whole way through, because that is how I work out how a student is really thinking. Once I know that, I can teach it their way rather than mine. Some students need to see it, some want it explained, some need to know where it came from. I enjoy that difference, and getting to know each student's personality is a large part of why I do this.

I would rather see my students get there by exploring and growing into the Maths than by following a textbook method they cannot explain.
